Neapolitan pianist Ludovica De Bernardo graduated with highest honours, distinction
and special mention in Piano and Chamber Music. Since 2012, she has pursued
advanced studies under the guidance of Mario Coppola, establishing herself as a refined
interpreter and performing in prestigious concert venues and festivals, including the
International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo, Società dei Concerti in Milan,
Ravello Festival, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Museo Teatrale alla Scala in Milan, Società
del Quartetto in Vercelli, Sagra Musicale Umbra, the Piano Festival in Barletta, Alpen
Classica Festival, Teatro Coccia in Novara, Teatro Villani in Biella, and the Italian
Cultural Institutes in Hamburg and Wolfsburg. She has collaborated, among others,
with Sestetto Stradivari of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and with Orchestra
del Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, conducted by Wayne Marshall, and has performed in
duo with Enrico Bronzi, Giuseppe Gibboni and Aron Chiesa. A prizewinner in numerous
international piano competitions, she has received several distinctions, including First
Prize at the XXVII Roma International Piano Competition and at the 13th “Città di
Treviso” International Piano Competition. She earned her Diploma in Chamber Music
from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, performing in duo with Christiana
Coppola under the guidance of Ivan Rabaglia. With the same duo, she recorded an
album for Urania Records. She is currently Professor of Piano at the Conservatorio
“Guido Cantelli” in Novara and Vice President of the Associazione Culturale Musicale
Triesis 488 ETS.
